I had a superior room which met all my needs. It was great to have a walk-in shower, fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle so I could self-cater a lot. The room was spacious and had a nice view of the bush and mountains out the back of the property. There was plenty of space to do my morning tai chi on the grass near the trees. I enjoyed walking the property in the morning to see the kangaroos, deer and numerous birds. I enjoyed sitting under the bbq decking and looking at the amazing view. next time I stay I hope to sit around the communal fire pit at night. Michael, the owner, was very friendly and welcoming.

We stayed here in mid-June 2025. The Property is just out of Halls Gap and has a pool and large grounds that are frequented by many native Australian animals. We had to stop half way up the driveway while an Emu decided it wanted to cross the road. One of the local Kangaroos popped into our room (literally) to see if we could spare any biscuits or fruit; a quintessential Australian experience. The room was recently renovated and had a new Aircon/Heatpump system which kept us warm on the cold nights. The bed was super comfy and the shower was nice and hot. The Restaurant was closed due to staff shortages in Winter, but there are lots of eating and drinking options in Halls Gap, so all good.

Absolutely fantastic, loved our stay. Comfortable beds. The setting was perfect, amazing views of the mountains at both the front and rear of the property, very relaxing place to stay. We saw lots of wildlife on this property - kangaroos(one that is friendly and lets you feed and pat it) kookaburras, cockatoos, rabbits, emus, and also a couple of deer ran through.

We liked the fact the room are spacious and clean. Lots of room movements for the bathroom bright and cleaniness is excellent. Motel is located a little further away from town but we liked the quietness.

We had a magnificent stay here at the grampians motel staff are friendly. Buddy the kangaroo who visits the rooms is awsume ! The motel is clean and comfortable. The views of the mountains are beautiful ! 😍 price and location are also great. The showers have nice water pressure the heater and extra blankets made the stay verry comfortable also :) I'd rate this stay a ten out of ten my family and I will deffinatly visit again and I will reccomend this place to friends and family.

We know the Grampians and were happy with the distance from the restaurants and shops. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, we did request an additional blanket as it was winter, I would have loved an electric blanket on the bed. The shower had good pressure, and plenty of room for toiletries. Jug, toaster and microwave was also supplied, plus mini fridge. Lots of Kangaroos and cockies to enjoy. Great price for what you get. Aircon kept us nice and warm.

Absolutely loved the picturesque landscape. Facilities and room were very clean. Smelt beautiful. Comfortable bed, linen, pillows ect. Soft towels. The restaurant was superb. Bbq Facilities great. Pool with a view. Nature at your doorstep. Owners were very accomadating, very friendly and professional manner. All staff take pride in their work and show great workmanship towards the motel. Great value for money. Close to all local attractions, and quieter than in town (crickets) We will definitely be back and highly recommend.

Beautiful environment! Karen, the owner, sent me a text message explaining check in on the Sunday, and even upgraded to a superior room. Her text was very clear and friendly in tone. When I arrived after 6pm, self checkin was easy. The room was a double queen with bathroom and kitchenette, immaculately clean and well presented, with incredible view to the mountains. It is wheelchair accessible too. Despite the terrible storms, I slept well. There are heaps of huge grey kangaroos on the lawns which is great.

Beautiful quiet location with lots of visiting wildlife. Very clean and the wifi works great. Contactless check in but the hosts stay in contact by sms. Everything we required was provided in the room. A kitchenette, microwave, coffee machine although the restaurant was closed for dinner during our stay. Great value for money accommodations and would highly recommend.

Friendly and helpful staff, Michael was great we had a blocked sink and he offered us another room because it was unable to be fixed, the wildlife were friendly, we had a kangaroo come into our room, it was a bit unsettling at first until we were reassured that he was friendly and known to staff, his name was Buddy, he was blind in one eye and he became our friend during our stay
